*August 3-5, 2021 MINI CAMP BEGINS
(8:30-12:00 PM each day)
*UNIFORM FITTING will take place at the end of each mini camp day. Refer to the schedule below for your day. Plan to stay at JHS until at least 1PM on your fitting day.
-Tuesday, August 3th - WINDS
-Wednesday, August 4th - PERCUSSION & PIT
-Thursday, August 5th - GUARD
*BAND CAMP begins August 9th.
(8:30-4:00 PM each day)
*MARCHING SHOES. All members will be required to purchase their own pair of shoes for the season. We will be asking for your size during mini camp and shoes should arrive by the end of band camp. Exact amount for shoes will be given at a later date as well as the due date for the money. Plan for a money due date near the end of band camp. (approx. $35 for shoes)
*BAND CAMP CHECKLIST - With band camp right around the corner, below is a list of items that all members should make sure they have before arriving at band camp August 9th.
-Instrument/Equipment
-Three ring binder with extra page protectors (provided for you)
-Any and all music already passed out to you
-Multiple PENCILS
-A water jug that can last you 3-4 hours.
(do not bring a 12oz bottle)
-Medication (if needed), MUST be turned into staff before the start of camp.
-SUNSCREEN
-HAT - not required but highly recommended!
-SUNGLASSES - not required but if you want to.
-SWEATSHIRT - on the off chance it gets chilly
-RAIN GEAR - we will rehearse outside in a slight downpour. Of course heavy rain we will not.
-TENNIS SHOES at all times. No sandals allowed! Only staff can wear sandals :)
-LUNCH is provided to you in the cafeteria or you may pack your own lunch. You WILL NOT be allowed to travel anywhere for lunch (i.e. sheetz or francos). Parents may also drop lunch off for you.
